Backend Engineer – FaithyApp
Started in July 2024. Responsible for backend systems including billing, authentication, and automation of content such as SEO-friendly articles and TikTok-ready videos. Fine-tuned AI models and crafted prompts to ensure accurate, context-aware responses on Christian topics. Developed a GraphQL API to support features like devotionals and other tools, streamlining integration and enhancing user experience.
Backend Engineer – Psicología y Mente
From February 2023 to March 2024, managed and optimized code for a high-traffic environment, supporting over 200,000 users and 25,000 professionals. Upgraded legacy systems, automated SEO processes, integrated AI solutions for professional-user matching, and implemented effective caching strategies using Cloudflare and Redis to reduce load times and improve user experience.
Freelance Software Engineer – Upwork
Between November 2020 and April 2023, developed and implemented user interfaces for AirGateway using NextJs and Strapi. Debugged features and implemented SAML authentication for Zudello using Laravel and Azure. Designed and developed APIs and backend systems for various clients, employing a diverse tech stack including GraphQL, Golang, AWS, Laravel, and NextJs.
Backend Engineer – ESCUELA DE MUSICA
In July 2021, engineered and packaged a comprehensive backend solution deployed across multiple school platforms, collectively handling over 30,000 users. Developed and maintained live video streaming features with integrated live chat using Agora and Cloudflare, and contributed to the creation of an interactive community platform to improve student and teacher collaboration.
Software Engineer – Emlogicx Systems Inc
From April to May 2021, contributed to building and deploying POS applications for restaurants and a tracking software system for the largest council in Cameroon. Utilized PHP, TypeScript, NuxtJs, and Node.js, with deployments on Digital Ocean and on-premise hardware.
Software Engineer – SchoolFAQs
From September 2019 to January 2021, architected and implemented the backend and first UI for SchoolFAQs, a SaaS application designed to match students with relevant study materials and past examination questions from universities nationwide. Utilized Laravel for backend development and InertiaJs for the frontend, processing and managing over 5,000 PDF documents and serving over 2,000 users monthly.
